Álvarez Sotelo Arquitectos is an architecture and design firm founded by Jorge Álvarez and Jorge Sotelo based in Madrid. They focus on how their work affects users and on the importance of sharing ideas and moments in the creative process.
For them, architecture is about more than designing or improving spaces; it is about the experience and the impact on people.
For this reason, the mechanism for transmitting the ideas, concepts and thoughts of all the figures involved in each project, in each work, is essential.

Architect graduated from Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad San Pablo CEU of Madrid in 2011. Throughout his professional career, he has developed projects of various scales and typologies both nationally and internationally, forming part of the Picado de Blas studio team. He has also carried out several projects in Spain on his account.
Since 2015, he has been a founding partner of Álvarez Sotelo Arquitectos.
Jorge Sotelo

Architect graduated from the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad San Pablo CEU de Madrid in 2010. At the end of that year, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Graphic Design and Modelling and since 2011 he has held a Master’s Degree in Collective Housing from the Department of Architectural Projects of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. At the end of that year, he obtained the title of Master in Graphic Design and Modelling and since 2011 he has been Master in Collective Housing by the Department of Architectural Projects of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. Since 2020 he has held a PMI Executive degree in Project Management from the Escuela de Organización Industrial EOI. In 2021 he was selected by MWCC as one of the 35 best young architects in Spain.
Since 2015, he has been a founding partner of Álvarez Sotelo Arquitectos.
